Cambodia is also known as Kingdom of Cambodia or Preah Reach Ana Pak Kampuchea. Cambodia capital is located at Phnom-Penh. Some of the largest cities are Battambaug and Kampong Chan. Situated on the Indo-China Peninsula in south-east Asia, the People`s Republic of Kampuchea changed its name to the original one Cambodia in May, 1989. For some time between October 1970 and May 1975-the country was also known as Khmer Republic.
